Sticking with a commitment that no two Forums will be identical, the 2004 Pinot Noir Forum ran smack into a record-breaking early harvest! Guests were in the thick of the excitement and winemakers showed their seamless juggling skills. This is winegrowing...unpredictable, at the mercy of nature and just the gist winemakers look for to share with the trade. As guests marched through the vineyards, dodged gondolas full of pinot noir grapes, and tasted fruit just off the vine, they emerged as part of the terrior of the 2004 pinot noir vintage, taking in the essence of what makes Russian River Valley pinot noirs exceptional.
