2005 gifted us with picture perfect Russian River Valey weather for the Forum. We mixed it up with the seminars this year and addressed four broad topics: climate and soil, history and farming, winemaking trends, and how to describe the specific flavor profile of our wines. The focus of each panel discussion and tasting was on what makes Russian River unique. Intermingled between the seminars were lunches at Iron Horse and Lynmar. At the reserve tasting, winemakers poured their rare pinots for the group. Immediately following the tasting, winemakers joined their guests for a stunning 10-course Grand Finale Dinner at MacMurray Ranch.
