Founder and winemaker Guy Davis of Davis Family Vineyards sustainably farms
Pinot Noir, Syrah and Old Vine Zinfandel on his hillside vineyards in the center of the Russian River Valley. After fanatical practices in the vineyard, Guy handcrafts his grapes along with some select rows from Dutton Ranch into distinct and delicious expressions of the appellation at his small winery in Healdsburg. Guy purchased and began planting a variety of Pinot Noir clones into his vineyards in 1996. Guy has worked in cellars around the world and continues to make Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand each year under his GUSTO label. Guy and his wife Judy have two sons, Cole and Cooper. Cole, their oldest son joined the winery team this year after college and an internship at Kunde winery. Davis Family Vineyards produces just 2500 cases a year of truly artisan wines, nurturing every vine and barrel with their own hands and hearts.
